Jennifer Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was raised within Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner was her father. He was also a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner taught in the same college as her. She received her degree in chemical engineering to emulate her father. Since 2014, Garner has been a member of the board of trustees of this group, promoting early elementary education. She is an ambassador and often meets with families who are part of the organisation's Early Steps to School Success program. The program guides parents on ways to support young children develop.
